Telecommunication & ICT Engineer
Derm Group (T) LTD is seeking a skilled Telecom & ICT Engineer and Senior Sales Officer to join our team in delivering successful projects while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the tendering process to help secure new projects.
- Define project objectives, scope, and requirements with stakeholders.
- Recommend appropriate Telecommunication and ICT engineering technologies.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to reduce disruptions.
- Coordinate with vendors and prepare accurate project reports.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, ICT, or related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in ICT systems and infrastructure
- Registration with the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) of Tanzania is mandatory.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Huawei HCIA/HCIP, Fiber Optic Certification (FOA), or equivalent are highly desirable.
Senior Sales Officer
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities
- Develop and execute sales strategy plans aligned with company’s annual revenue targets.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and commercial offers
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide accurate monthly forecasts
- Negotiate contract terms with clients to maximize value while protecting company interest
- Mentor and supervise the Junior Sales Officer, ensuring effective skill transfer and team performance.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, ICT, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive sales and business development experience, preferably within telecom, ICT, engineering, or infrastructure sectors
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and Sales skills
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and quality focus
